Mission:

The aim of this position is to work on New Product Development, provide technical coaching product/technology/process expertise to the team members.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading & coordinating Design as per customer requirements to achieve its function considering interface packaging, manufacturing and assembly aspects.
  • Responsible for providing technical solutions to customer (related to design, manufacturing and process).
  • Responsible to follow up all the standard work procedures, methodologies etc during the works.
  • Maintain current CAD file management practices. Learn and gain product knowledge.
  • You to release the design data in the system as per required product data management system within project timeline.
  • Responsible to achieve the desired quality of work delivered within the given time & date.
  • Design support for Lighting and Electronics development.
  • Need interaction skills with customer, Plant and Suppliers.

 

What we are looking for:

  • B.E Mechanical/Automobile - Preferred, Diploma Mechanical/Automobile.
  • Sound technical knowledge and experience in design and development of Mechanical products like sheet metal products (prefered), cast/machined products, plastic products and relevant product standards such as UL, IEC, etc.
  • Should have good knowledge on different product design tools environment like CAD, Solid works, ERP system, SAP.
  • Experience must include hands on experience with design of products from concept to commercialization including and not limited to part detailing and designing, component and material selection, drawing creation, 3D modeling of parts/assemblies and 2D dimensioning and tolerance of parts, protyping and validation
