Mission:

The aim of this position is to work on New Product Development, provide technical coaching product/technology/process expertise to the team members.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Tooling Feasibility to be done with product designer
  • 3D design & 2D engineering drawing knowledge
  • Shrinkage analysis and decision making
  • EGP sign off with customer & tool maker
  • Mould Flow to be reviewed with tool makers
  • Tool Design review to be done with tool makers
  • Optimization & Standardization of Mold Manufacturing Process as per GA tooling standards
  • Tool Trials to be attend at tool makers place
  • Mold development follow up as per given timeline from tool makers
  • Documentation and system update as per GA tooling standard
  • Grain mapping to be done with graining suppliers as per customers input
  • Part submission for graining approval to customers
  • Graining approval to be taken from customers
  • Tool buy off with final process parameter
  • Mould cycle time confirmation and 2DP run with 3 months support to plant
  • Support Internal Molding shop for Tool Related issue, Like ECN & any rectification.
  • Knowledge of cooling jigs, checking fixtures & small SPMs
