Mission:

 

Strong fundamental knowledge and experience in Instrument Panel, Center Console, Door Trims & Pillar Trims, soft Trims development and validation of passenger or commercial vehicles. Strong experience in Tooling & Manufacturing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design activities for automotive interior products for projects.
  • Design and modify plastic parts as per customer requirements to achieve its function considering interface packaging, manufacturing and assembly aspects.
  • Attend design reviews to present design ideas and to discuss and critique alternative design solutions.
  • Modify designs based on the analysis to re-test and analyse until design meets specification requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelors of Engineering.
  • Experience in Automotive Plastic Interior Design, using Catia V5 Preferred,  / UG NX (4 years).
  • Experience in Project Experience in Door Panels and IP.
  • CATIA V5 Skills : Excellent Skill sets required in Sketcher, Part Design, Surfacing, Assembly Design, Power Copies and  Macro ( Basic).
  • Master Section Creation / Modification / Auto Update with Parameter is the Key Requirement.
  • TCE knowledge how will be an added advantage.
  • English: High level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write detailed design documents.

1) To Simulate and lead IP, door trim and window regulator CAE projects.

2) Preparation of project time plan

3) To follow Simulation methodology

4) Prepare and discuss simulation reports with internal and external customer.

5) To coordinate simulation task with external agencies

 

Skill Sets :

1.      Profile should be good in Abaqus Static and crash simulations

2.       Lsdyna Skillsets are added advantage.

3.       Good product knowledge in cockpits, door trims , Window regulator.

4.       Experience of customer interaction

5.      Good presentation and communication skills

6.      Experience in Material calibration is added advantage
