Mission: 

This position will provide Level 1 support to the Nashville plant.  This will involve the deployment and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, etc. as well as production hardware such as scanners and tablets.  This will involve the deployment and support of all software.

 

Responsibilites: 

  • Deploy and support hardware, as needed, according to Division Standards and Procedures.
  • Configure and support software according to Divisional Standards and Procedures.
  • Interface with personnel and management alike to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain production systems (PC’s scanners, barcode printers) to highest level of dependency.
  • Provide assistance to other sites as needed.
  • Support a broad range of hardware/software solutions.
  • Provide Information Technology solutions for all phases of operations.
  • Keep abreast of current technology and industry trends to determine future needs.
  • Interface with personnel and management alike.
  • Additional responsibilities per Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform special projects and all other duties as assigned. 
  • Provide off hours support as required.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment lists, network information, and Solidat MES information.
  • Perform network cabling and terminations when needed.
  • Coordinate Hardware repairs with an OEM when needed.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 year college degree in IT related field.
  • Two to five years of work experience in a manufacturing environment desired, but not necessary.
