Injection Molding Technician

Location: Antolin Nashville, IL

FLSA Status:    Non-Exempt

Level: Professional

Salary Range: $44,800 – $54,500

* Must have 1 year Injection Mold Processing experience or have satisfied probationary period for 1 year as IM Helper

IM Helper position will be considered if * not met

Mission: The role is required to maintain the control in injection molding.  This role will provide support to the execution of the production schedule including anything from component changes, setups and startups for our injection molding processes.  Promotion of Continuous Improvement through team leadership in cooperation with supervision and other departments.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor Injection Mold Processing parameters
  • Monitor and collect parameter data
  • Perform mold changes
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of parts produced
  • Clean mods
  • Ensure molding machine is in proper working order
  • Troubleshooting Injection Mold Processing to rid parts of defects and document all changes
  • Complete press reports

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • One year Injection Mold Processing experience or satisfied probationary period for one year as IM Helper
  • TS 16949 Awareness
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must acquire working knowledge of components and all tools and their functions associated with Injection Mold Processing flow
  • Able to read and understand Injection Mold Processing and control instructions
  • Able to work any shift to accommodate possible 24/7 customers schedules
  • Basic mechanical and electrical background
