Mission: (Brief statement of job’s primary purpose. Maximum of 2-4 sentences):

The aim of this position is to comply with the requirements of the companies and responsible for hiring, onboarding, employee relations,and benfits for all employees. 

 

Essential Functions of Role:

  • Supervisory Capacity:      Choose an item.

• Ensure employees are aware of benefit programs, enrollment deadlines, and that they enroll timely and correctly – ensure no one is missed/late in enrollment.

• Recruit and hire non-exempt production and MOI employees including working with the temporary labor agencies.

• Monitor temp labor headcount and reconcile monthly bills.

• Ensure new hire orientation and onboarding is conducted per the Antolin guidelines.

• Complete e-verify in a timely manner and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately.

• Complete and maintain HR reports, including EEO, OSHA records and logs timely and efficiently.

• Notify all employees when they are eligible for benefits, go over the benefit package with each employee, and provide assistance in the on-line enrollment process (if needed).

• Conduct employee meetings on Benefit programs on an annual basis prior to Open Enrollment.

• Ensure employees are entered into on-line benefit and 401k applications.

• Administers and ensures company policies and procedures are followed.

• Conducts investigations and administers conflict resolution; including EEOC and Unemployment Cases.

• After conducting investigations recommends appropriate discipline action to Department Manager and Human Resource Manager for approval.

• Administer discipline and assist with the termination process as needed.

• Will ensure payroll is processed efficiently and timely.

• Compile and report monthly KPI’s as required.

• Administer the Internal Job Posting process and work with Department Managers in the selection of the most qualified candidate for the position.

• Complete exit interviews.

• Conduct employee communication meetings and training sessions as needed.

• Track and monitor all employee training.

• Ensure that documentation is filed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Enter all FOC orders for health insurance responses.

• Ensure Compliance with all Federal, State, and local reporting requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

•  Help coordinate and plan all employee engagement activities including activities surrounding holidays, safety events, etc.

•  Recommends and is open to continuous improvements for the betterment of the department or division.

•  Works as an effective team member in the HR department, helping out with everything for the employees.

•  Abides by all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations promoting safety in the workplace.

 

Experience / Skills

• Must be very organized and detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.

• Experience in SAP is helpful; but not required.

• Manage time effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Health, Safety, & Physical Demands

• Safety glasses are required to be worn at all times within the plant.

• This position requires the ability to work at a desk, utilize a computer, and move freely continuously throughout the plant production areas to speak with employees daily across all shifts. Extended hours may be required at certain events to support employee events and HR responsibilities.

What we are looking for:

 

Educational Requirement:    High School Graduate or Equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Preferred.

Area of Study:     HR

(Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.)

 

Years of Experience Required:

  • 1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience with HR/Payroll
  • 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
