Mission:

The aim of this position is to maintain and sustain production lines, warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas.

 

 

Essential Functions of Role:

  • Supervisory Capacity:      No Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Feed the production line, which is the number one responsibility. Ensure the manufacturing department is kept supplied with the necessary materials needed for production and to ensure all material take to the lines is done on a First In – First Out (FIFO) method.
  • Empty trash dumpsters/containers, along with the trimmings, that is produce during production.
  • Load and unload trucks and provide assistance to the Material Handler Leader when requested.
  • Maintain FIFO in the warehouse. Ensure raw material is placed in the proper location.
  • Receive raw material the verify the packing slip and quantity received match. If it matches, sign the packing slip or carrier delivery receipt, and then place material in the proper location.
  • Change waterjet buckets when requested by production.
  • Place all finished goods in the proper location using FIFO.
  • Ensure all skids are stacked and placed in the proper location.
  • Keep packing supplied with material at all times.
  • Keep warehouse clean.
  • Keep the compactor/dumpster are clean of any loose trash.
  • Maintain forklift. Complete the daily checklist before the start of the shift along with cleaning the lift when needed.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly physical inventory.
  • Communicate with coworkers, management, customers, and vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

 

Educational Requirement:    High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study:     General Studies

(Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.)

  • Heavy machinery certification such as Forklift, Scissorlift, etc.

 

Years of Experience Required:

  • Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience with warehousing processes including inventory, FIFO, and visual aids.
  • Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry in a plant, preferred.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Language Required:  English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)
  • Good knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
  • Good knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Basic knowledge of knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and supply chain concepts and parts flow.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
