Mission:
To deliver accurate financial reporting and efficient sales processing for assigned customer accounts, ensuring all data is reconciled and aligned with organisational standards. Additionally, support month-end reporting activities to uphold compliance and contribute to informed business decision-making.
Essential Functions of Role:
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, adhering to deadlines, ensuring accuracy of postings.
Produce, develop, and post journals for accruals and prepayments.
Preparation of statutory accounts.
Conduct monthly variance analysis on actual financial performance vs. budgets and forecasts.
Control overheads, investments, and tooling and report against budget.
Lead in accounts receivable by investigating and resolving price discrepancies, delivery matching, and cash allocations.
Liaise with and support Service Centre matters relating to allocations, deliveries, invoices, and cash allocations.
Collaborate with department heads and project managers on costs impacting P&L results.
Prepare and ensure that supplier payments align with agreed terms.
Support all internal and external audits.
Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure funding requirements are met for all currency bank accounts and optimize cash usage.
Understand internal and external department processes to correctly account for transactions and comply with audit requirements.
Proactively identify and drive performance improvements across contracts and processes.
Represent the department in dealings with internal and external parties.
Work independently by planning and organizing workload to meet deadlines.
Conduct supplementary projects or tasks as directed.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Finance, AAT qualified or studying towards a professional qualification
Extensive experience in SAP and Accounting principles.
To be able to work in a team and coordinate financial implications of the various aspects of the business.
Experience working in a automotive or manufacturing environment.
Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
Strong team building and leadership skills.
Must be very organised and detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
Manage time effectively.
