Mission:
For our location in Kansas City, Missouri, we are seeking an Operational Excellence Transformation Coordinator in the field of interior automotive design. The focus of the position is to provide support for and guide development of continuous improvement projects in our manufacturing locations and promote understanding and practical applications of lean principles. Works with management as well as line plant staff in manufacturing, maintenance and QA. This role may support the Antolin Headliners Division or Plastics Division.

Responsibilities:

Setting operators to jobs in an efficient manner. Help to establish processes and procedures for their assigned work areas. Performs job specific training for employees in assigned areas and maintain UET board to standard.
Maintains a clean and safe work area supporting 5S.
Performs OPT audits to ensure procedures are being followed appropriately.
Material management (raw material and containers) as required for daily production schedule. (According to 5s State of Reference)
Coordination with Mold Changer for tooling changeovers.
Incidents daily management.
UET monthly meetings planning and address. Contribute with data to identify/Analyze improvement Actions. Improvement proposals management made with in the UET (with IDEA system or similar).
Coordination and management of 5S, Kamishibai and standardization.
Tests management from the development of new models, technologies, materials, etc. coming from Engineering, Quality and Materials Management Departments.
Analysis of claims and monitoring of action plans. (Problem Solving - Post its)
Submits cost reduction and Innovation ideas.
Implements Engineering Changes for assigned areas.
Maintains authority to halt production line in accordance with Escalation Matrix due to Quality/Mechanical problems that need immediate correction.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

High school diploma / Higher technical certificate.
At least 5 years of experience in similar role.
Experience in running efficiently, scrap, quality, safety, troubleshooting, repairs, line improvements and 5s.
Knowledge in production lines processes.
