Mission:
For our location in Kansas City, Missouri, we are seeking an Operational Excellence Transformation Coordinator in the field of interior automotive design. The focus of the position is to provide support for and guide development of continuous improvement projects in our manufacturing locations, and promote understanding and practical applications of lean principles. Works with management as well as line plant staff in manufacturing, maintenance and QA.  This role may support the Antolin Headliners Division or Plastics Division.

Responsibilities:

Guarantee correct transmission of the info between shifts and facilitates start of next shift, including OPT (Works post

observation) needed due to operators on training, problems under analysis in Red Table that requires customer protection

and new products industrialization

•Monitor and address safety environmental concerns on the shop floor

•Monitor quality issues toward our goal of zero defects

•Control overtime to achieve a goal of 0 hours

•Improve efficiency

•Perform daily scrap reviews

•Manufacturing program reception Put in place the lines installment

•Personnel distribution and mobility, ensuring trained workers as per multiskills matrix

•Observance of productive processes

•Total Quality

•MOD performance follow up and evolution

•External rejections analysis and restraint control

•Collaboration with Engineering regarding planning, assembly and startup of new projects

•Plant Indicators Monitoring Gross Performance, Net Performance, MOD Effectiveness, Deviations

What you bring to the team:

• Three years of experience as a Line Lead or supervisory role supporting production or quality
• Experience managing personnel with the ability to demonstrate leadership
• Thorough knowledge of the functional area under supervision
• Safety and Quality experience
• Knowledge of the industrial sector, automotive industry a plus
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
