Mission:
For our location in Kansas City, Missouri, we are seeking an Operational Excellence Transformation Coordinator in the field of interior automotive design. The focus of the position is to provide support for and guide development of continuous improvement projects in our manufacturing locations and promote understanding and practical applications of lean principles. Works with management as well as line plant staff in manufacturing, maintenance, and QA.  This role may support the Antolin Headliners Division or Plastics Division.


Responsibilities:
Building CMP Team budget, rightsizing and following it up.
Ensure team members training, polyvalence, and performance.
Balance workload for Material Planners (number of references & suppliers)
Interface with the Plants, Corporate Logistics, and the other CMP teams.
Follow up operational KPI and build improvement plans.
Propose best practices to the CMP organization and implement the ones proposed by the rest of the teams.


Hierarchical management of the CMP team, in charge of:
• Suppliers relationship.
• MRP calculation.
• Raw Materials & Components orders creation, analysis, and release.
• Components & Raw Mat stock follow-up & stock variations based on Planning or Demands updates.
• Follow-up coming projects (flows definition, materials creation, purchase documents, SOP)
• Follow-up coming EOP & EOL
• Follow up potential material shortages.
• Supplier Delivery Performance follow-up.
• GAP to stock target analysis & Stock reduction plan.
• Follow-up cycling inventories from Plants
• Components & RM returnable Packaging.
• Transport plan & Transport follow up (if no 4PL)
• Follow up Engineering Changes implementation and impact in RM/Components to avoid obsolescence – raise claims if needed


What we are looking for: 
•    Minimum 1 year experience with materials planning
•    Skilled Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•    Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with English proficiency
•    Experience in the industrial sector, automotive industry strongly preferred.
•    Knowledge of SAP ERP a plus
