Mission:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the management of material handling throughout the manufacturing facility, manages cycle counters, secures logistics standards, and proposes/implements improvement ideas.

 

 

Essential Functions of Role:

  • Supervisory Capacity: Direct Reports:  20+
  • Management of the Material Handling shop-floor team of his/her shift.    
  • Cycle Count: Manage Cycle Counters and secure proper Cycle counting process: adherence to ABC Calendar, confirm that deviations identified are double checked and confirmed, implement corrective actions defined under his/her responsibility.
  • Secure that Logistics standards are implemented and respected (Areas, 5S, min/max levels…)    
  • Receiving area management and execution according to standards defined. Resolve / report / track / improve deviations.   
  • Line feeding process management and execution according to standards defined. Resolve / report / track / improve deviations.                
  • Shipping area management and execution according to standards defined. Resolve / report / track / improve deviations.
  • Propose and Implement improvement ideas.

What we are looking for:

 

Educational Requirement:    High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study:     Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping, Material Planning

(Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.)

 

Years of Experience Required:

  • 1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience with Logistics.
  • 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Language Required:  English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)
