INPF04 UET /Team Lead

Responsible for managing all aspects of production in their assigned area, from beginning to end.  The major responsibility of the UET Leader is to keep production moving at all times and become an expert for that particular area of responsibility.

Monitor safety of the line, including all personnel wearing proper safety equipment.
Review work instructions with all new UET members
Ensure all required training of UET members is completed properly and entered in PLEX daily.
Ensure completion of Safety Start up Checklists, Red Rabbit completion, First Piece Inspections, Process Audits, Quality Alerts, Manufacturing Deviations, Autonomous Maintence
Ensure line is supplied with raw materials, supplies, containers, etc. at the beginning of the shift and throughout shift as needed based on the production schedule.
Ensure setup and startup of line systems and machines per work instructions and parameters.
Adhere to production schedules.
Continuously monitor process throughout shift and notify supervisor and maintenance as applicable issues arise.
Perform all documentation required for traceability of suspect product following non conforming product work instructions.
Continuously monitor system for cleanliness for 5S principles and procedures.
Recommend jobs to employees in the event of line stoppage and keep supervisor informed of any line problems or employee conflicts.
As a team member perform housekeeping of lines and general area.
Lead problem solving, Kaizan and team building activities on line and lead continuous improvement meetings related to improvements to the following standards: Cycle times/throughput, training, quality, ergonomics, safety utilizing the problem log system.
Responsible to work in a safe manner, utilizing all proper safety equipment, and to report unsafe conditions to their supervisor.
Monitor and maintain all Quality guidelines, ensure minimum required checks are completed.
Hold employees in UET assigned area accountable to ensure compliance with published schedules, hourly cycle rates and quality standards.  Report hourly counts and scrap issues to supervisor promptly.
Reduce controllable downtime.
Verify completion and accuracy of all production reporting, traceability, downtime, labor and scrap.  Responsible for results and tracking of the following indicators: Returned product from the customers, rework and scrap metrics, parts produced, OEE, downtime and absenteeism.
Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
System requirements - to comply with the requirements of Antolin St. Clair's SP, Quality and Safety Policy, Procedures and instructions.
Perform escalation process when necessary.
Lead daily start up meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
