Mission:

As a Product Engineer at Antolin, you will play a key role in the development and improvement of automotive interior products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This position requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and feasible solutions for automotive interior products, considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, ergonomics, and cost.
Conduct product feasibility studies, including engineering analysis, prototyping, and testing, to validate design concepts and ensure they meet the required specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize the production process, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
Generate and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including product specifications, drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions.
Participate in design and engineering reviews, providing technical expertise and recommendations to ensure product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Identify and resolve design, manufacturing, and quality issues through root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
Support product launch activities, including process validation, sample production, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to automotive interior products, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to develop and qualify new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
3-5 years of experience as a Product Engineer or a related role in the automotive industry.
German, English and Spanish (High level).
Strong knowledge of automotive interior products and their manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD and expertise in PLM Teamcenter software will also be highly valued.
Experience with engineering analysis tools, such as finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies, such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Continuous learning mindset and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest industry advancements.
Knowledge of automotive industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
