Mission:

Execution of all activities belongs under HW Design management.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate in the definition of the global strategy for HW Design and implementation globally.

- Manage globally the human resources and budget allocated in the HW Design Department.

- Establishment of a global strategy with Purchasing related to EE-components suppliers.

- Be aware of the latest technologies for Electronics Design (State of the Art).

- Assure HW Design resources availability for projects and Request for Quotations

- Support external collaborations and potential M&A processes.

- In coordination with EE-Quality and EE-Project Management, deploy the different methodologies and standards requested by the customers.

- In coordination with EE-Manufacturing, deploy the best practices to guarantee a correct Electronics Design to Manufacturing process (DFM).

- In coordination with EE-Project Management, assure the achievement of the timing of the different customer projects.

- In coordination with EE-Quality, support the quality claims coming from the customer.

- Interface with Business Units / Innovation & IP to make sure that a proper support is provided to the different RFI / RFQ opportunities.

- Electronic Components Analysis and Evaluation.

- Participate in Tech Days and meetings with component suppliers.

- Report to management for HW-related topics.

What we are looking for:

- Degree in Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.

- Experience in the automotive sector in a position equivalent of at least 8 years.

- Experience in Electronics Design for automotive systems.

- Electronic Standards - ISO 26262 - Section 5.

- Team management and OEM Design Specs Knowledge.
- Experience with tools like Altium design, Doors, Jira, Confluence etc….
