Mission:
You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's data strategy to harness the value of data to make data driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the organization's data strategy, aligning it with business objectives and ensuring that data is a strategic asset.
- Oversee the collection, storage, processing, and management of company data, ensuring its quality, integrity, and security.
- Ensure that the company complies with data privacy regulations and other legal requirements related to data handling.
- Drive data analytics to make data-driven decisions, identify use cases, trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Look for opportunities to use artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other advanced technologies to get the most out of company data.
- Work closely with other departments, such as IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure that data is used effectively across the organization.
- Foster a data culture in the company, promoting data-driven decision-making and data literacy among employees.
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Engineering and a specialization in Big Data or Business Intelligence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in positions related to data management and analytics, with a deep understanding of data-related technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with databases, data analysis tools, programming languages, and data management systems.
- A good understanding of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR in Europe or HIPAA in the United States.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
- Ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop initiatives that generate a positive impact on the business.
- Ability to analyze data and turn it into useful information for decision-making.
- The ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment and embrace new technologies and approaches.
