Data Architect

Mission:

 

You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's data strategy to harness the value of data to make data-driven decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and build the company's data architecture, including models, schemas, databases, data warehouses, and data integration systems.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, developers, and other stakeholders to understand and meet their data needs.
  • Evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies, tools, and methodologies for data handling, taking into account data performance, scalability, security, and quality.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for data architecture, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor data governance best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and business requirements

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • A degree in Engineering and a specialization in Big Data or Business Intelligence.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in positions related to data management and analytics, with a deep understanding of data-related technologies and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and turn it into useful information for decision-making.
  • The ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment and embrace new technologies and approaches
  • Experience in managing large volumes of data, Big Data.
  • Expertise in technologies such as Synapse, Spark, Fabric, Azure
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala or SQL to develop scripts and applications that handle data.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar tools.
  • Interest in the industry and in adding value through data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop initiatives that generate a positive impact on the business.
