Mission:
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting and accounting activities within a manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the UK Senior Financial Controller, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial statements while supporting key business decisions through detailed financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
Develop and supervise the implementation of internal financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
Contribute to the company’s financial strategy and decision-making processes.
Analyse, prepare, and present monthly and quarterly financial, budgeting, and forecasting reports to the management team.
Lead the end-to-end internal evaluation of current processes while supporting external auditors for audit completion.
Take overall responsibility for managing financial results to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Manage, mentor, and motivate the finance team.
Review financial reports and seek ways to reduce company costs.
Identify efficiency opportunities and maximise profits through process analysis.
Propose solutions to identified risks and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
Lead team members responsible for accounting, payroll, VAT, and HMRC processes.
Support best practices in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control.
Oversee the preparation and interpretation of statutory accounts and present findings.
Drive continuous improvement in end-to-end accounting practices.
Remain flexible and reactive to changing operational requirements in a multi-plant environment.
For our Financial Controller, we are looking for:
Degree in Finance, CIMA or ACCA qualified
Extensive experience in SAP and Accounting principles.
To be able to work in a team and coordinate financial implications of the various aspects of the business.
Experience working in a automotive or manufacturing environment.
Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
Must be very organised and detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
Manage time effectively.
