Mission:

The Tax Analyst will be responsible for all areas of provision and compliance within the tax department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timly preparation of US tax provision and maintenance of income tax balance sheet accounts for financial reporting purposes.
  • Prepare all US domestic book to tax adjustments and state modifications for the interim and year-end provision process and assist with the management and review of foreign entities' tax packages and questionaires.
  • Assist with the calculation of major tax reforms such as GILTI, FDII, 163(j), and BEAT.
  • Prepare and maintain uncertain tax positions and valuation allowances including supporting documentation.
  • Aid in the preparation of all corporate income tax compliance including consolidated US federal return, state and local income/franchise tax returns, US international tax forms 1118, 5471, and 8878, extensions, estimated tax payments, etc.
  • Maintain tax return workpapers in support of all book to tax adjustments and tax return positions.
  • Support federal, state, and local corporate income tax audit requests and notices plus the research of federal, state, and international tax issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and simplification of the tax provision and compliance functions.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required. Tax focus is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a tax role within a large regional or Big Four accounting firm or with a multi-national corporation. Experience with tax provision and tax compliance.

  • Eager to learn, open to development opportunities. Thrives in a hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
  • Ability to conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees
