Mission:

The mission of the Plastics Quality NA is focused on:
1. Development Quality:(APQP):  Proper transfer of customer requirements into reliable products and processes on time.
2. Manufacturing Quality:(APQP): Maintaining and improving the performance during product life.

 

Responsibilities:

Development Quality:(APQP): Proper transfer of customer requirements into reliable products and processes on time.

  • Ensure Robust Design and products on time, produced with capable means in stable processes able to produce the expected quality and quantity in a sustainable competitive way. In cases where prevention is not successful, support project teams in recovery plans. 

 

Manufacturing Quality:(APQP): (P10) Maintaining and improving the performance during product life.

  • Verify that operations are running according to the contractual and internal standards and the corresponding management routines. 
  • Ensure capitalization of LL for continuously improve results. Promote containments and robust corrective actions on time in cases of deviations. In cases where prevention is not successful, support plant teams in recovery plans

 

  • Manage the Operational Quality function within the business unit during development and mass production, ensuring that quality targets and customer satisfaction are achieved.
  • Ensure deployment of the Quality Objectives and Quality Culture to all levels of the affected staff.
  • Manage the BU Quality resources to ensure Quality activities are properly performed to meet Quality Objectives in terms of conformity, timing, customer satisfaction and cost, during development and during manufacturing activities.
  • Ensure that, in cases of deviations, the corresponding action plans are defined to achieve targets.
  • Report monthly on the performance of the manufacturing plants and the development projects together with defined actions for deviations.
  • Regularly establish the systematic actions to avoid recurrent problems in development and mass production, ensuring that the actions are deployed in all projects and/or plants, respectively, assuring continues improvement.
  • Promote a rigorous Customer Focus.
  • Understand conformity to specifications as the main energy to achieve the corresponding Customer Satisfaction.
  • Ensure robust adhesion to the Management System and the corresponding Customer Specific Requirements to achieve Conformity.  
  • Contribute to elevating Customer Satisfaction to create current and future value for the Company.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a Quality function

  • 3 to 5 years of direct supervisory experience

  • Ability to sit, stand, and has mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed
  • Ability to conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees
  • International Travel: 15% Domestic Travel: 30%
