Industrial Process and Technology Engineer

POSITION TITLE: Industrial Process and Technology Engineer

HOURS / WEEK: 40 hours/week

JOB SITE LOCATION:               1601 Southern Rd, Kansas City, MO 64120 and

                                          1700 Atlantic Blvd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326

DUTIES: Support project teams on project development (cost estimations & quotations, guidance on new projects, and similar responsibilities); Understand business requirements and to manage the change process; Take part in projects team to help to determine their requirements and advise on the best way to achieve efficiency and standardization; Work as part of a larger team to implement the systems & applications to support business processes; Be the main contact point with IT; Assist with the cost & timing estimation of new projects; Ensure that users & business get the most out of GA systems & applications; Regional responsibilities; Understands IT Systems & Applications that support core company processes; and Main contact point with plants, projects and BUS.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related Industrial Engineering field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Five (5) years of experience in Industrial Process & Technology Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Industrial System Analyst, Costing Engineer, Production Control Engineer, or related Industrial Engineering occupation. Experience must include: Experience working in mass production manufacturing environments; experience working with SAP; experience working with BLADE.

OTHER: Note, 70% of the time in the position requires travel; 50% of the travel is domestic and 20% is international travel.
