Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the Quality results on monthly basis of the manufacturing sites to ensure that action plans are defined to achieve targets (when deviations).
  • Consolidate, evaluate and ensure reliable Serial Quality indicators in the companies. 
  • Perform Process audits in the BU productive plants according to the established plan, supporting the creation of the action plans and verification of effectiveness.
  • Support, follow up and consolidate plants in escalation process (internal o client).
  • Participate in internal escalation meetings for plants escalated according to defined procedures.
  • Support the manufacturing sites to achieve the Quality target when necessary, including support in the establishment and follow up of the action plans to improve the quality of the processes and products produced. When necessary, it includes to provide training for quality department if required (QIM, BI, CV, SAP, etc) 
  • Support the plants in risky situation related with quality or escalation process (internal or external)
  • Participate in external escalation meetings for plants escalated by the Customers (if requested by them).
  • Report on monthly basis to the BU Serial Quality Manager the Quality performance of the manufacturing plants together with defined actions (for deviations).
  • Promote improvements actions in the BU in the product-process-management or other to meet a continuous improvement promoting cross implementation among plants (including best practices)

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required. Master's Degree in Quality Management preferred.

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive quality or related field required. 

  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills with a results oriented approach
  • MS Office proficiency required
