The Role: Maintenance Technician

The aim of this position is to be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment across the Redditch facilities.

 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure that the standards of the Maintenance Department are sustained
  • Ensure that all TPM's and PM's are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner as per the schedule
  • All plant and associated equipment are kept clean, tidy and in a serviceable state
  • All daily service checks are completed as per schedule i.e. compressor and chiller checks
  • Update the maintenance database with all work carried out
  • Completion of Company documentation in its entirety and in a timely manner
  • To be available for overtime as and when required
  • Ensure that Health & Safety requirements are met and adhered to
  • Comply with the Spares tracking process
  • Continuous Improvement projects
  • Stand in for other members of the team where required
  • Remain flexible to changing operational requirements.

 

 

For our Maintenance Technician, we are looking for:

  • Educated to HNC/HND in related discipline.
  • Experience with ABB Robots or similar
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical (hydraulics) knowledge
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deliverables
  • A challenging and enquiring mindset
  • Enjoy building relationships

 

 

The Interview Process:

This consists of two segments making up one interview stage for our Maintenance Technician position:
 

  1. Site Tour (20 minutes) - You will be taken on a tour of our Redditch manufacturing facility to gain an understanding of the products we manufacture and the exceptional processes we use. You will also get to know the equipment and machinery alongside our safe working practices.
  2. Competency Interview (40 minutes) - We know interviews can be a stressful and scary experience for some, but please be yourself and give us an insight into your core skills and experience. The Maintenance Manager will then give you an overview of the team, company and culture. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions about the company.
