Industrial Manager

Mission:  The Industrial Manager is the key, operational expert between individual Plant facilities and Industrial Regional Director. The role is to support the Industrial Director in ensuring the multi-Plant region achieves expected Operational and Financial KPI's and if not, supporting to establish robust corrective actions. The industrial Manager will lead site wide Launch readiness reviews, with project status tracking, deliverables and facility readineess, ensuring the success of the Launch


Functions / Tasks:

  • Develops and executes implementation planning for new programs, establishing launch readiness reviews and associated tasks/actions arising
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Bridge between Industrial director and plants for all non-financial operational aspects
  • Identify, define resources for and manage “special projects” related to consolidation, operational improvements, new program equipment/process, filling of open capacities 
  • Support actions arising from KPI and operational efficiency issues (Scorecards, Management Indicators)
  • Identify personel gaps and participate in recruitment and resolution
  • Support plant actions arising from material deviation and contribution margin deterioration
  • Timely delivery of information related to operational performance and actions arising
  • Supporting the regional consolodation of VA/VE activities


Required Knowledge/Experience:

  • Academic Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Professional Experience: 5-7 years Operational Management / Project Mangement
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Program Management Systems
  • MRP Systems (Engineering Functions/BOMS/Routings)
  • Preferred experience with Interior Trim Products


Personal Abilities:

  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project. 
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Strong analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
