Account Manager - GM
Job Title: Sales Account Manager - GM
Mission: The Sales Account Manager will be assigned a book of business to manage by their supervisor and in line with management expectation and direction. This business will fall into one of three categories: (1) Target Pursuit Business, (2) Business in Development, and (3) Business in Production. The Account Manager’s responsibilities within these categories are described below.
Functions / Tasks:
- Developing piece price breakdowns for all new and existing parts
- Support and attend customer meetings
- Act as the liaison between Engineering, Costing, Purchasing, Program Management and Plants.
- Assist with any special projects or program Deep Dives
- Review Customer Scorecards/Dashboards/Performance Reports/KPI's and provide support and guidance to better our rating
- Support Customer VAVE activities, and enter and track cost reduction activity
- Track Directed Supplier pricing
- Manage/Support customer service requirements if applicable for your customer
- Determine prices to be entered into each Change Notice based on information provided by costing
- Maintain price level bump charts for all part numbers on each program.
- Maintain open issues for each program
- Answer internal IQRs/PCABs
- Enter customer RFQs (online) production parts
- Support internal and external program teams as required
- Review purchase orders & track for accuracy (for production, service and tooling)
- Assist in tool realignments as required
- Meet with cost analyst to negotiate all quote activity (open pricing). Provide breakdowns for tooling and piece price gather documentation/backup and meet with analyst to finalize pricing.
- Submit Imposed Supplier Forms to Grupo Antolin Purchasing
- Manage and quote Temporary Engineering Changes
- Provide information on volumes and pricing for Budgets
- Submit quotes in required customer formats.
- Negotiate and settle prices (prototype/ production/ service parts and tooling) of programs in development and in production.
- Maintain records of prices/ costs.
- Support marketing activity - Maintain Corporate Database.
- Completes other job related tasks as assigned
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Markerting, Business or related field required
- At least 3 years' sales experience in automotive or related field required. Account Management experience with OEM customers preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills are required
- MS Office proficiency required

- Sit, stand and mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
- Conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees.
- May require travel.
