Mission:
As part of a globally active project team, you will accompany the acquisition phase as a technical manager from the customer's first inquiry to the transition to a new in-house project. Their main focus is on balancing customer needs with technical feasibility. This position is aimed specifically at professionals who are ready to take their professional next step.
Responsibilities:
- Independent technical quotation processing, in intensive coordination with the customer and the internal specialist departments as well as taking into account the factors cost, quality and time
- Calculation of technical costs and required resources, e.g. for design, testing, simulation and engineering
- Creation of technical data sheets, such as parts lists, material analyses, requirement and/or functional specifications and internal specifications
- Recognition and escalation of technical ambiguities or impossible feasibility including support in the creation of problem-solving scenarios
- Definition and coordination of validation requirements regarding safety and testing
- Application of lessons learned, change and CIP processes defined for the acquisition phase
- Administrative tasks such as organization of customer meetings with the relevant internal departments and checking all documents for completeness
- Active participation in the development of new sustainable concept ideas within the acquisition phase
What we are looking for:
- Technical studies or comparable training with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman
- Preferably professional experience in technical product development in the automotive industry, interior and/or plastics processing
- Experience in technical quotation processing as well as with the evaluation and analysis of CAD drawings
- Very good knowledge of German and English (at least level C1), also good knowledge of Spanish
- Sovereign appearance with binding and convincing negotiating skills
- A sense of responsibility and independent leadership, supported by a natural understanding of numbers and an eye for what is (not )feasible
- Strong team player combined with the joy of innovative thinking
